Top Ten Laravel And PHP Things - 19-12-2025

19th December 2025

It's Friday, some of you might have already finished work for the year, so lets get one more top ten Laravel and PHP things in before the we all take a long earned break.

In 🥇 place this week its Ana Margarida Tavares latest post over on the Laravel Blog - "How We Built Laravel Wrapped". Ana goes into details on how the Laravel team (Big shout out Josh Cirre) went about building Laravel wrapped. Given it only took the team 2 weeks to put together it's damn impressive. It's really interesting to go behind the scenes and see what the team used to help them build the application in such a short timescale. - https://t.ly/L2PyG

In 🥈 place this week its Mohammad Mahdi Taheri with "Railway-Oriented Programming in Laravel: Exceptions Are Not Your Business" - I really enjoyed this one as its not a coding technique I've come across before and it's certainly one I'm interested in looking at in a bit more detail - https://t.ly/d-R-z

In 🥉 place this week its Roberto Butti with "How to use local packages in Composer: a guide for PHP developers" - A nice walk through on how to use local packages with composer - https://t.ly/HkaCS
